Print Design - Coffee Table Book

The Brief:

Study about Food and the variety of topics under it. Out of these, pick a topic that interest you the most. The brief given regarding the groups chosen, was to choose a particular niche within topic to do research on and find out about the topic as much as possible. After extensive research and analysis, we were supposed to identify a problem within the topic and then come up with a design solution deliverable, resolving the same.

The Goal:

Creating regional and seasonal Indian flavours needs a deep understanding of how spices are combined to balance tastes. While many exotic spices are now readily available today, the art of using these spices to create wonderful flavor and diversity of taste is not as easily accessible. The key to becoming a skilled home cook isn’t about tracking down the perfect recipes or mastering the techniques of professional chefs. It lies in understanding the vast world of flavour, one that can be difficult to navigate.

SURVEY ANALYSIS

While many exotic spices are now readily available today, the art of using these spices to create wonderful flavor and diversity of taste is not as easily accessible.

Indian cuisine is revered around the world and while many of the more popular dishes and recipes have made it to the shelves, what is missing is the use of the very spices that are the foundation of Indian cooking in a way that is more friendly and tailored to Western tastes.
