The BoAt Crest app was redesigned to improve feature discoverability, personalization, and long-term engagement for smartwatch users. While the hardware offered strong capabilities, the companion app struggled to help users understand their data or use features consistently.
This redesign focuses on turning health metrics into meaningful insights, simplifying navigation, and creating a flexible system that adapts to different user goals — from fitness tracking to lifestyle use.
Redesigning comes with a pack of

Despite offering a wide range of features, the BoAt Crest app struggled to guide users effectively. Important actions were hard to find, data felt inconsistent, and the app did little to help users make sense of their health metrics.
As a result, users disengaged quickly, undervalued the product, and left negative feedback — even when the smartwatch hardware itself performed well.
